I Don’t Have a Lot🙂 Here’s Some Quick Encouragement

Hello Family, I am BACK. I pray this finds you well and blessed. It’s been a while since I’ve written anything but I want to get back to a place of writing and speak what’s on my heart, and the only thing I have right now is a piece of encouragement.

Despite what’s going on in the world, I want to spread some joy and to remind us all to sit back and to open our hearts for gratitude. Everyday we wake up and breathe and exhale is a blessing. We are indeed a blessed people. I simply want to share these few words, Be Strong, you are more than enough and capable to get through this. Whether it’s financially, health related or struggling to find where you fit in, please be reminded that you are enough. God has equipped you with everything you need. Take time to sit back and tap into your God given gifts and talents. You may convey the gift of servitude and the gift of helps. Especially in this time we all need a helping hand whether it’s physically or just an ear.

I am praying for you and with you, I love you!

Blessings from a God that Can do the Impossible

Hello Family!

I pray that everyone is living their best lives and that your holiday was filled with joy, peace and love. I pray that this message will be blessing to you and enrich you on your journey of life.

I have been reading and in prayer about some things. Can I vent? I’ve been in panic mode.  Worrying about some finances, family and business. Yesterday, I was lead to read Psalms 91 and God simply says give me a chance. You’re not suppose to be worried about this or that. Rest in me, and even when stuff come up, I won’t let it touch you, you’ll be able to keep going. Mannnnn I’ve read this passage so many times but yesterday I really needed to hear that. I was like the kid who fell down off his bike and scraped his knee and cries and run to mom and dad, only for them to say hey, it’s going to be ok, you’ll be fine. I posted a quote today that I written in my phone and it simply says. Stop worrying so much that you give no room for your Faith to attach to God’s Promise. Let me break that down. If you stay focus on your dilemmas and situations, you will never be able to reach for God because you will be too focused on trying to come up with a solution or the ultimate solution. I joke with a friend on occasion about this phrase he uses and encourages “Take Rest” and honestly we must Take Rest. Take rest in knowing that God is going to work it out for us. Take rest that you can stop worrying. It’s a process, and you will totally have to flex that faith muscle to get the ball moving on those faith biceps. Trust me it’s a journey but God will not put more on you than you can bare.

Also, if you are like me looking and waiting for a blessing from God please make sure that you stay open. Be open to the limitless possibilities of God and stop thinking that there is only one way for God’s blessings to come through. The reason why some of our blessings haven’t come through yet is because we’re not open to them. God may want to use the co worker to bless you who you don’t speak to in the morning. God may want to use that annoying friend who looks up to you and who calls you all the time to bless you. God uses people! In the bible he says that the riches of the sinner is laid up for the just but how do you get to them if you are closed off? The world is so much bigger than your city, your church, your job and even your own family. There are people from all walks of life looking for your ministry, your business, your intellect and they are ready to invest and be a blessing to you. Don’t get caught up with people looking different from you. We are all God’s children and we are his creation. We sing and preach about God being a miracle worker but we diminish the light on God’s power when we think that the blessing can only come from a promotion on a job or a raise. When we begin to take the limits off of God (take your hands off the steering wheel please) and REST in him, then the blessings will flow. Most of us are already blessed and don’t even know it. If you’re able to make choices, count yourself blessed. If you can go to your closet and stand there for 10 minutes picking out something to wear for one day, You’re blessed. The homeless family may only have that one shirt to wear. We are a blessed people. Remember to be open. Remember God’s blessings and miracles are unordinary and breaks scientific research (the virgin Mary). So stop looking for them to be how you think they should look and be open for him to bless you.

I love You

Know When it’s Time to Move On

Hey Family! I Pray that you are well and are gearing up for the Holidays for family time and good eating. I just wanted to share a nugget with you for this week.

As you can see from the title, you already know what I’m talking about to some degree. I just want to share some insight on this. I want to start off by saying you must never stop learning and growing unless you’re comfortable with where you are. Being comfortable can really stagnate you’re growth and hinder you from reaching your full potential. I often sit in deep thought asking myself why didn’t I do this, or why didn’t I go here? Often times the answer is me not moving. So maybe you’re not comfortable in the place you’re in. Maybe you’re too busy doing the same routine and keeping busy that you don’t recognize the need for more or progression. I call these distractions. Sometimes our friends can become distractions. We can take on their burdens and cares and get overwhelmed and over worked with their problems that we never have to time for our own. At every season in life we must take time for us and take inventory. Take inventory of your own peace, joy and happiness. If something is lacking then work on it.

Some of us have many dreams and visions that we want to embark on but were distracted doing other things that doesn’t matter to our vision. Now I’m not saying to go abort all your friends and loved ones. I’m talking about setting boundaries and balancing the scale. No friendship should be out of balance. Just as much as you help someone or pour into them, they should be able to pour into you. If the scale never balances out then it might be time to move on. In life some people are only on your train for a season until you reach their drop off spot. Ask yourself this? Am I benefiting from this situation, friendship, or relationship? If the answer isn’t yes, then it’s time to Move On!

Be Encouraged

Be Blessed!
